Implants

Dr. Singh was among the first dentist to complete the Mini-Residency in Osseo-Integration at the University of Toronto in 1985 and has been performing both the surgical and restorative phases of Implant Dentistry for over 13 years. Dr. Singh and the Unionville Dentistry Team were one of the first in the world trained to perform 'Teeth-in-an-Hour'. This is a computer guided implant placement system that allows the placement of implants as well as the final restoration in a single appointment for the replacement of one or all teeth. Respected for his work with computer guided implants, Dr. Singh was the first dentist in North America to perform a live surgery demonstrating the revolutionary new Nobelguide system in front of 55-60 members of the dental profession.

Dental implants are "artificial roots" and support restorations that may be removable or fixed permanently to the implant(s). The implant (artificial root) becomes the foundation on which your restoration will be built. Advances in implant design, techniques and technology make it possible for most people to be suitable candidates for implants. Another advantage to having implants (especially if placed "immediately"), is that they integrate with bone, thereby minimizing or preventing bone loss.

The development and advancement of implant dentistry have certainly been the most revolutionary changes in dentistry in more than 30 years. They help us offer you many alternatives that would previously not been possible.
