Conventional ImplantsThe conventional implant process can take from three to six months to complete. The first stage is the surgical placement of the implant. Approximately three to six months is required for the implant to heal and fully integrate with the jawbone. Once the integration process is completed and stability has been determined, the final restoration (crown, bridge or denture) can be fabricated. The procedure chosen depends on several factors, such as your dental health, the number of teeth involved and which teeth are replaced. These factors will also determine the total number of visits to the dentist throughout the treatment period. |
